Our client is a long-standing global lighting brand that has established itself as a market leader in Australia founded on the quality of the product that it supplies. They have seen year on year growth and is looking to expand its reach even further internationally.
Role
With a national presence in Australia, this role will play a critical role in maintaining and growing the brand in Victoria & Tasmania. Reporting into the local State Manager you will oversee a territory of warm accounts that will consist of Electrical Contractors and Wholesalers in the South-East Melbourne area.
Skills & Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you must have the following:
- Experience within the commercial building products sector
- Previous lighting sales experience is highly desired
- Ideally have experience selling into wholesale/Retail/Distributors
- Existing relationships with Electrical Contractors is highly desired
- Electrical, Engineering or Design qualifications or equivalent is highly desired
- Experience managing accounts and a proven track record of sales achievement
- High degree of energy, self-motivation and desire to be rewarded with your efforts
- Stable track record of employment and desire to move into a long-term career role
