With over 50 years of history, they are firmly established in manufacturing and installing custom Staircase projects across NSW & ACT, holding a substantial 60% market share in Tier One residential builders.

Until now our client has not had an on the road sales team, therefore, lots of scope for growth as they hire their first Business Development Manager.

The company offers an apprenticeship program, fantastic staff retention rates, strong training, and onboarding.

They manufacture and install a full range of metal and glass balustrading, balconies, pool fencing, screens and louvres.

Our client represents several sought-after brands which complement their Staircases, including exclusive high-end handrails and Balustrades.

An innovative addition to our client’s portfolio, their handrails are the first of its kind in Australia. This presents substantial growth opportunities, especially in sectors such as Volume Home Builders, Aged Care, Residential, Retirement Living, Healthcare, Government, Education, and Construction.


We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager focused on residential builders to target Tier Two builders across NSW. In addition to expanding market share with their main Staircase brand, overtime you will seek to drive growth for their newer brands.

Our client can offer you job stability and longer-term career opportunities. You will be a valuable team member and this position will offer you autonomy. You will work from home, your car, café, onsite, client’s premises and our clients’ offices at Wetherill Park. You are not expected to be in the office during the week, this is an on the road BDM position.

Fantastic onboarding, training and support is provided by the Commercial Manager.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Adaptability and Willingness to Learn: We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn about new products and are committed to upskilling continuously.
  • Strong Residential Builder Network: Proven experience and a solid network within the Sydney residential builder market are essential.
  • Career Commitment: Demonstrated tenure and a history of commitment throughout your career are highly valued.
  • Proactive Sales Approach: Preparedness to engage in onsite visits, cold calling, client meetings, and door-to-door activities to achieve set targets. This role entails driving new business acquisition, expanding market share, and securing new accounts.
  • Diverse Product Background: We welcome candidates with diverse product backgrounds who can adapt their skills to our specific market needs.
