Our client is a dynamic privately owned business with an ambitious vision to become the leading manufacturer and distributor in Australasia. Our clients organisation is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a transformative sales leader to drive their expansion in a key market.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets for the NSW & ACT region, with a focus on increasing sales by at least 30% this calendar year.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to win more day-to-day work, in addition to maintaining brand awareness and pipeline for larger projects.
- Manage and lead the NSW sales team, ensuring they are accountable and driving results.
- Provide high-level customer engagement and close major deals with key clients.
- Executive our clients go to market and sales strategy.
- Collaborate with the national team and leverage company resources to support the NSW operations.
- Prepared to grow NSW and gain further market share in a very competitive environment.
- Lead from the front, motivate, coach, and mentor an experienced team. Lead and transform a dynamic sales team.
- Implement robust sales accountability measures
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the commercial building materials industry, with a strong background in sales management.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and drive a sales team.
- Word class customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Technical knowledge of building materials and installation.
- Willingness to travel within NSW and occasionally interstate.
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capabilities
- Proven track record in commercial sales leadership
- Ability to motivate teams and drive performance
- Salary range: $160,000 - $180,000 Base + Super + Car Allowance + up to 40% bonus per annum
