They are now seeking a driven, hands-on Retail Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales team within a luxury retail environment.

The Role

This is a fully hands-on retail leadership position where you will lead from the front while managing and mentoring a team of 3x direct reports.

Joining during a new store launch - you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the future success of the showroom, while working alongside a business that is investing heavily into growth and expansion.

You will take ownership of both your own personal sales performance as well as the overall showroom results, ensuring the team consistently exceeds KPIs, conversion targets, average transaction values, and overall sales performance.


Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading and mentoring the showroom sales team
  • Driving personal and store sales performance
  • Maintaining exceptional customer service standards
  • Coaching staff to maximise conversion and sales opportunities
  • Assisting in recruitment and team development
  • Creating a positive and customer-centric showroom culture
  • Managing showroom operations and presentation standards
  • Foster a culture of accountability, positivity and performance

This is a full-time retail role that requires weekend work as part of the roster.


Skills and experience
  • Previous leadership experience within retail or showroom environments
  • Strong leadership and people management capability
  • Experience coaching teams to achieve sales results
  • Proven success selling high-ticket products or services
  • Strong customer relationship and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a KPI-driven sales environment
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving ability
  • A proactive, energetic and accountable approach to leadership
  • Positive, resilient and solution-focused
  • Experienced in exceeding personal sales targets consistently

Your Sales Background

We are open to candidates from a variety of premium retail or sales-driven industries including Furniture, Bedding, Jewellery, Fashion retail, Appliances, Luxury retail, Real estate, Interior products, High-end services, Decorative products.

Furniture experience is highly desirable, though not essential for the right sales leader.
