Role
We are looking for a personable and motivated Showroom Sales Consultant who enjoys working with customers and has a passion for interiors and design.
Based in the showroom, you’ll work closely with retail customers, tradespeople, architects, designers, and builders to help them find the right tile and surface solutions for their projects. This is a hands-on role that blends customer service, sales, merchandising, and showroom presentation.
You’ll become a key part of the showroom experience — assisting customers, maintaining displays, supporting day-to-day operations, and building strong relationships with both trade and retail clients.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of sales, customer interaction, and showroom coordination within a premium design-led environment.
Please note: this role requires Saturday work as part of a 5-day roster, with one weekday off plus Sunday.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to retail, trade, and design clients
- Assist customers in selecting tiles and surface solutions for their projects
- Maintain showroom presentation including merchandising, displays, and ticketing
- Support day-to-day showroom operations and sales activities
- Build relationships with tradespeople, builders, architects, and designers
- Process sales enquiries and assist with quotations and follow-up
Skills and Experience
- Previous showroom, retail sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Tile industry experience highly regarded but not essential
- Passion for interiors, renovation, or design
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Well-presented with a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced showroom environment
- Comfortable working Saturdays as part of a rotating roster
- Driven, reliable, and eager to build a long-term career
