The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, they now require a Trade sales professional to join their friendly Sydney team. We are seeking a sales professional with drive, fantastic communication, experience in the design industry and passion for design.

You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth by contacting prospective clients. The successful candidate will work on a Tuesday - Saturday roster. 

This is a unique opportunity and offers product training and strong career development. The team in Sydney will provide you with all the support you require to thrive and develop your successful career in the luxury Tile industry. It's a relaxed environment and with realistic company goals to work towards. 

As their new team member, you will contribute to the company’s success in the following ways:
  • Proactively identify and research potential clients (Architects, Designers & Builders) using various sources and tools.
  • Research specifications and projects of interest that you can hopefully offer Tile solutions for. 
  • Conduct presentations with Australia's top tier Architects and the Design community. 
  • Contact prospective clients via phone, email, and in-person visits to introduce our client's products/services and build relationships. 
  • Seek to get our clients Tiles in the libraries of Architects and Designers. 
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of the products/services and present business opportunities to the company. 
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activity and progress
  • Entertain clients and host them in the showroom. 
  • Creating and closing sales. Manage a pipeline and budget

Skills & Experience
We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills and experience. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly
  • Minimum 2 years face-to-face sales experience
  • Design or Architecture degree and two to three years experience in the industry
  • Stable track record of employment and desire to move into a long-term career role.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the client's needs
  • A team player with a high level of organisation skills.
  • High degree of energy, self-motivation, and desire to be rewarded with your hard efforts. 
  • Ability to work a Tuesday - Saturday roster
