Company

Our client is an established supplier of commercial lighting and energy solutions. They have acquired specialist product offerings over time and offer a full technical product solution to predominantly commercial projects. They are looking for a technical & well-networked BDM with strong communication skills to head up their specifications division, within a well-established NSW team. Building on very strong foundations that have been laid over the past decade, this organisation continues to expand their reach both nationally & internationally.


Role

You will report directly into the National Sales Manager inter-state with the main responsibility of driving growth in NSW with the key Specifiers. Working very closely with the Internal Sales and Coordination team to ensure projects are seen through to completion, this senior opportunity is extremely diverse and requires a switched-on industry professional that is calm under pressure and has a long-term mindset. This is a critical role for the business and career growth is assured within the organisation for the right calibre of professional.


Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

  • A strong understanding of commercial lighting and Australian standards
  • Commercial lighting sales and specification experience
  • Experience in completing large scale high-value projects
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • An Interior Design, Engineering or equivalent trade background
  • A proven track record of delivering projects within strict deadlines
  • High degree of energy, self-motivation and desire to be rewarded with your efforts
  • Stable track record of employment and desire to move into a long-term career role
